IFS releases CPM Lite, Corporate Performance Management solution to optimize A&D supply chain
IFS™, the global enterprise applications company, has released CPM Lite, a pre-configured version of its Corporate Performance Management (CPM) solution designed specifically to optimize strategic supply chain performance in the aerospace and defense (A&D) value chain.
CPM Lite can be set up to run alongside existing business systems in just a few days, and is of particular importance in the A&D sector, where contracts increasingly demand business performance metrics.
CPM Lite offers a user-defined ‘cockpit’ display where key performance indicators can be viewed and measured using easy-to-read displays, such as dials and graphs. It works through a portal interface which draws data from applications and data warehouses to provide end-to-end visibility across the entire supply chain. The solution avoids “strategy leakage” across the organization by linking corporate strategy to supply chain business execution. Users can view metrics specific to six different management roles including operations, customer, supplier, procurement, and buyer. The packaged metrics are based on the internationally recognized best practice guidance of the Supply Chain Council's SCORTM (Supply Chain Operations Reference) model.
“We believe that CPM Lite offers a unique approach to strategy and performance that a standard BI tool cannot deliver,” commented Brendan Viggers, IFS Defence Head of Product Management. “CPM Lite is designed to give businesses a plug-and-play mechanism to monitor and execute on their supply chain initiatives. This is a solution we can install in days to deliver rapid value return to organizations. The standard package also delivers industry best practices and metrics to improve performance and helps organizations demonstrate added value to customers.”
