Service management expert Metrix joins forces with IFS
IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announced May 23rd the acquisition of Metrix, a global vendor of advanced solutions for service management and mobility. Metrix’s industry-leading software is used by 90 customers worldwide to automate mobile field service, streamline repair processes, improve customer service and increase service profitability.
Metrix was established in 1980 in Waukesha, Wis., U.S.A. The company focuses exclusively on providing best-in-class service management and mobile workforce software. Beyond industry-tailored field service management applications, Metrix develops a mobile framework that offers built-in industry expertise, out-of-the-box use, robust field force automation functionality and flexible, commonly used technology, to facilitate integration with leading ERP, CRM and legacy vendors.

Since entering the mobility market, Metrix has continually refined and expanded its service management products. Today, the company offers a comprehensive software suite for service management, featuring native Android and Microsoft field service applications for smartphones and tablets. The solution enables automated customer service and support processes, support for complex service contracts, improved inventory and service logistics visibility, streamlined part return processes, and intelligent functionality for warranty and asset management.
