PROJPRZEM S.A., a Polish docking solutions provider implemented the IFS solution to effectively manage its entire value chain, from design, production, and construction to sales, delivery, and installation

IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that PROJPRZEM S.A., one of the biggest European suppliers of warehouse docking solutions and a manufacturer and constructor of steel structures, has implemented IFS Applications™ to support its diverse value chain.

Listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, PROJPRZEM manufactures, sells, installs, and services PROMStahl-brand docking systems to some 36 countries in Europe, Asia, and Africa.

“Our group has been experiencing rapid growth, so to ensure its effective management, we needed modern IT solutions,” PROJPRZEM S.A. president Anna Zarzycka-Rzepecka said. “We previously used simple IT tools that would cover only some of our areas of operation. These tools were not enough to satisfy our business development needs, which is why we decided to implement a comprehensive and integrated ERP solution from IFS.”

IFS Applications has been implemented in all key areas of operation of the PROJPRZEM group, such as production, sales, construction and working designs, as well as deliveries and coordination of installation. Moreover, the system supports finance, HR and payroll, documentation and quality management, as well as customer relationship management.

Anna Zarzycka-Rzepecka added, “One of the great benefits offered by IFS Applications is the system’s real-time, intra-system reporting of financial events. Constant access to current data, tailored to different management levels, has increased the productivity of the group. Furthermore, the system’s scalability and agility will enable our further development by enabling us to match the solution to our growth.”

IFS CEE President Marcin Taranek commented, “We are very pleased that our solution is effectively supporting PROJPRZEM’s growth and that it is enabling them to improve the company’s efficiency on the global market. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial cooperation.”

IFS Applications has been deployed for two manufacturing plants in the PROJPRZEM S.A. group as well as the subsidiary PROMStahl Polska Sp. z o.o., which specializes in sales of docking systems. A roll-out to the German subsidiary—PROMStahl GmbH—is planned for the beginning of 2016.
