MIR Valve Leverages Enterprise Project Management Functionality

Since MIR VALVE’s inception in 2007, IFS Applications was the chosen project-based ERP to help build its incredible growth. Component-based IFS Applications has enabled MIR VALVE to add more functionality as it has grown which enabled it to be agile, meet customer demands, and manage a global supply chain and complex procurement. Over a joint workshop, IFS and MIR VALVE produced a solution map that identified current shortfalls, requirements and planning for future growth. Of the suggestions made, an upgrade to IFS Applications 8 was needed to improve operations, implement the projects component to manage engineer-toorder
operations more effectively, and map its procurement processes. With project management functionality added, and utilizing full functionality in the engineering and manufacturing components, MIR VALVE captures all activities related to aproject. Having full visibility from planning and scheduling to execution of operations and
shipment while being integrated with finance means MIR VALVE can manage the complete project lifecycle.
