Holmen Paper Braviken

In the past, Braviken Paper Mill, Sweden, had a variety of isolated units, and basic data had to be entered several times. For example, the purchasing and maintenance systems were not integrated, and many users were forced to deal with information outside the system. The decision to implement new maintenance software was taken with a view to increasing the efficiency of the mill’s processes, increasing traceability, and making better analyses. Now, previously isolated islands are now part of an integrated flow. Management at Braviken sees the entire facility in a totally different way than before implementing IFS Applications and can more easily analyze the way they work. Traceability has also improved.
