Stadium, one of Scandinavia’s leading sport retailers, has ordered an expansion of its retail solution from IFS. After having upgraded to the latest version of IFS Applications in 2011, Stadium decided to extend its IFS retail solution with advanced features for assortment planning and stock replenishment.

We are expanding our use of IFS Applications to maximise the efficiency within assortment planning and replenishment. Swedish automotive engineering company VBG GROUP has gone live on the Beta 2 version of IFS Applications™ 8 in order to streamline and modernise the business processes within one of their business divisions. VBG GROUP is one of the worldwide Applications 8 early adopters utilising the new and innovative features of IFS Applications 8.

We wanted to modernise our enterprise applications platform in order to maintain our leading position within the industry. The Mansfield Group, one of the UK’s largest dedicated vehicle recovery and breakdown operators, has selected IFS 360 Scheduling’s Dynamic Scheduling Engine (DSE) to support them in meeting their demanding 20 and 30 minute response time emergency breakdown calls.

IFS has signed an agreement with the owners of Metrix LLC to purchase 100 percent of the membership interests. The acquisition will further strengthen IFS’s market position in the high-growth global Mobility & Service Management application market.

IFS announces that Supra, the heating equipment manufacturer, has expanded its use of IFS Applications™ to meet the demands of the market.

We have become much more efficient. It used to take us a week to fulfil an order received during the busy season; now we can deliver within three or four days. This was made possible by the deployment of IFS Collaborative Supply Chain which optimises communications with our logistics service provider. Now the provider is informed immediately of ongoing operations and this makes our delivery lead times much more reliable," said Eric Storme, Information Systems Director at Supra.

IFS has signed an agreement with China Yangtze Power Corporation (CYPC) for the implementation of IFS Applications at two new mega-hydropower stations on the Jinsha River, China. CYPC also owns Three Gorges, the largest hydropower plant in the world. IFS was selected in competition with SAP and Oracle. One of the deciding factors for CYPC was IFS’s proven track record within enterprise asset management.
