The Bursa Cement Factory, one of Turkey’s leading cement manufacturers, has chosen to implement the extended ERP suite IFS Applications. The investment will offer a fully-integrated, consolidated business platform that will support the company’s sustainable growth.
After a six-month evaluation process, co-ordinated by the Bursa Cement Factory and Bursa Concrete Industry Information Technologies Departments, the company selected IFS Applications. Some of the main reasons for choosing IFS were the system’s wide and deep functionality as well as its flexible architecture.
“Our ambition with the ERP project is to leverage our brand value and increase our profitability,” said Şeref Ali Öztürk, manager of Bursa Cement’s Information Technology. “IFS presented a solution that supports our ambitions and offers extensive functionality that is perfectly suited for the cement and concrete industry. We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with IFS.”
“We are very proud to be adding Bursa Cement and the group’s other companies to our growing customer list in Bursa,” IFS Turkey’s Assistant General Manager Göksel Sanbay said. “We are convinced that our extensive solution and deep industry expertise will support Bursa Cement’s future growth. We are also grateful to all of the Bursa Çimento and Bursa Beton A.Ş. Information Technologies Departments’ managers and employees for their efforts.”
During the initial phase of the implementation project, Bursa Cement will install the Marketing, Sales, Procurement, Accounting & Finance, Human Resources, Payroll and Production Management components at the factory site. This will result in a fully-integrated system supporting all processes related to maintenance management, corporate asset management, quality management, business intelligence and customer relations management.
