Banss Schlacht- und Förder-technik GmbH specializes in the planning, production, delivery and assembly of slaughtering and meat processing equipment and in storage and refrigerated transport systems. The company, which was established 135 years ago, has around 190 employees at its Biedenkopf site in Hessen, Germany. Its first manufacturing site outside Germany is currently under construction in China (Shanghai). Annual turnover is in the region of € 25 million, making Banss the market leader in this segment.
