IFS Applications as a Service—application provisioning in the cloud

And the servers and business critical software solutions running on those servers are not among them.

Our cloud based deployment solution goes beyond simple virtualized hosting. It allows you to offload the technical support, maintenance, monitoring and fault correction of IFS Applications and associated technical infrastructure including servers, operating systems, databases, ,and move them to the professionally managed IFS Private Cloud. This new cloud offering is just one element in IFS’s strategy for cloud computing, enabling IFS customers to extend their options with cloud based applications.

IFS Applications as a Service is built on single-tenant “private cloud” concepts, where each customer has their own database and application instance, yet at the same time leverages a highly scalable cloud computing infrastructure. This allows customer to leverage cloud computing and managed services to extend or offload their lean IT staff, yet retain the security, privacy and control of a non-shared application environment. With IFS Applications as a Service, customers control the application configuration, maintenance windows, and upgrade timing. Secure Integration with local security solutions (such as Active Directory) and other applications, either in the cloud or on premises, are fully supported.
