IFS Strategic Partners
Some IFS partnerships have developed into international strategic alliances. In these cases the partner takes on a number of different roles. Strategic Partners have an assigned global alliance manager at IFS, collaborate with IFS in several countries, and invest in product development together with IFS.

ABB
IFS and ABB have signed a global agreement with respect to sales, implementation, integration and product development. The collaboration centers on solutions for the asset-intensive, manufacturing, petroleum, gas and petrochemical industries. Joint customers include Visy Paper in Australia and SCA Ortviken in Sweden.

Centric
Centric offers specialized total solutions in consultancy, IT solutions, software engineering, e-business, systems integration, managed ICT services, and training. Centric is active in a variety of sectors, including central and regional government, financial services and banking, retail, housing corporations, and wholesale. Centric has established itself as one of the top 10 ICT companies in the Netherlands and has sites in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Norway, and Switzerland. The IT-organization Centric is part of Centric B.V., which has approx. 8,400 employees. IFS and Centric are working together to develop service orientated architecture (SOA) based solutions to improve efficiency and flexibility within the retail industry. The two companies have established a Center of Excellence that focuses solely on the success of the partnership.

HP - Hewlett & Packard
HP is a global technology partner in product development, benchmarking and sizing. The areas in which HP and IFS collaborate sucessfully cover all platforms: Windows, Unix and Linux. Moreover, HP's close relationship with Oracle means that the development of clustered solutions is mainly based on platforms from HP. Packaged and certified software and hardware solutions are offered exclusively on an IFS/Oracle/HP platform.

IBM
IBM is a strategic business partner in product development and sales within selected market segments. Related to technology IBM and IFS collaborate on WebSphere J2EE and J2ME technologies. The web technology within IFS Applications is certified for WebSphere Application Server. IFS and IBM also collaborate on benchmarking and hardware sizing activities.
IFS Defence
BAE SYSTEMS and IFS have formed a 50–50 joint venture, IFS Defence, collaborating on the sale, implementation and product development of solutions for the defense industry worldwide. Customers include Lockheed Martin Joint Strike Fighter and the Royal Norwegian Air Force.

IFS-UFIDA
IFS and UFIDA have established a JV that will sell and implement IFS Applications, targeting asset-intensive and project-related enterprises in China, including utilities, engineering and construction companies.

NEC
NEC is an authorized distributor with respect to sales, implementation and product development for the Japanese market, focusing especially on discrete and repetitive manufacturers. Customers include Olympus Tatsuno and Sumitomo Electric.

Oracle
Oracle is a global technology partner for database technologies. IFS and Oracle have been collaborating for over two decades, beginning with IFS’ selection of Oracle’s database server as the main platform for IFS Applications. Recent activities have been primarily related to benchmarking activities on cluster technologies within Oracle10g. The web technology within IFS Applications is certified for Oracle 10g Application Server. IFS is one of Oracle’s largest development partners.
