Position Purpose

The Application Consultant with Finance industry experience plays a key role in implementation of IFS Applications by providing the necessary Application and business process consulting, training, documentation, to ensure the customer’s success in using IFS Applications as a tool to improve overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation of IFS Applications at customer site
• Training
• Writing customization and report specifications
• Application testing and verification
• Application Mapping and configuration
• Understanding and solving customer requirements.
• Taking active part in building a strong team.
• Understanding the importance of and pursuing a high degree of customer service
• Customer Support

Key attributes/experiences for the successful candidate

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or an equivalent qualification such as CIMA/ACCA
• 2-3 years’ experience in any combination of the following: financial applications, business process reengineering, A/P, A/R, and G/L, financial package implementations or training.
• Good Presentation skills, good organizational and documentation skills.
• Good skills in Microsoft Office Products.
• ERP implementation experience preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly, communicate ideas effectively, define and lead team efforts, and utilize flexibility and creativity to present a variety of solutions.
• The candidate must be able to analyze and/or design business processes.
• The candidate must be willing to perform other duties as assigned or requested.
• The candidate must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
