CryoService selects IFS Applications
CryoService (Worcester, England) supplies commercial gas storage systems and also bulk liquid gases such as nitrogen, argon, oxygen, carbon dioxide, special gases and gas mixtures, delivered throughout Britain to a wide range of markets in the science, leisure and industrial sectors. CryoService's diverse customer base numbers over 10,000 sites and includes fast food chains, leisure centres, public houses, hospitals, hotels and universities. CryoService will use IFS for service management of the installed equipment, and logistics scheduling as well as Distribution, Finance and HR. IFS plays a part in major European infrastructure project connecting the UK to continental Europe
Interconnector (UK) Ltd (London, United Kingdom) is responsible for the safe, clean and efficient operation of the Interconnector pipeline which links the UK with continental Europe. The 235 km pipeline connects the terminals at Bacton (on the Norfolk coast in England) and Zeebrugge (Belgium). The company was formed in 1994 after a consortium of nine energy companies either side of the English Channel made long-term commitments to the project and became shareholders. The first gas flowed through the Interconnector in 1998. An enhancement project is currently in progress to increase the import capacity of the system. Interconnector will play an increasing role in ensuring security supply for UK energy.
