Reliability-centred Maintenance
Reliability-centred Maintenance (RCM) was originally developed by the civil aviation industry, but has since been applied to almost every type of industrial manufacturing and process equipment. Applied to re-assess the maintenance requirements of existing equipment, RCM transforms maintenance schedules and the way the maintenance function as a whole is perceived in the organisation. The result is maintenance that is safer, more effective, less expensive, carried out with the agreement of production and maintenance personnel. IFS Defence has in-depth expertise in developing and delivering products and services to support the implementation of RCM in Aerospace & Defence.
