Professor Baines, Head of Operations and Information Management Group, Director of the Aston Centre for Servitization Research and Practice, is the leading international authority on servitization and advanced services and spends much of his time working hands-on with both global and local manufacturing companies to understand servitization in practice and help to transform businesses.


Martin Hill-Wilson has been involved in customer service since helping establish the very first generation of call centres in the UK with Merchants where he ended up as CEO before moving onto Dimension Data and Datapoint in strategy roles. Since 2008 he has run his own advisory and education brand Brainfood Consulting which provides masterclasses, keynotes, mentoring and conference chairing. He is a well known thought leader in customer engagement.


As Director of IFS’s in-house technology think tank, IFS Labs, Bas de Vos is responsible for positioning and communicating the company’s innovation projects to illustrate the future of enterprise software. Bas and his team research and develop ideas that derive from concepts and technologies beyond the context of traditional enterprise IT. His role is to adopt the customer’s point of view and to refine ideas, develop business models and bring IFS’s innovations to the broader community.


Nick Frank is co-founder and Managing Partner at Si2 Partners. Nick has more than 25 years international experience ranging from start-up service businesses, sales & marketing and leading transformation within large global manufacturing and technology organizations. After working as a Professional Engineer and Launch Manager at Xerox, he went on to be Director of Full Service Provider Programmes at Textron Inc and then later General Manager After-Market Sales EMEA at Husky Injection Molding Systems.


Mark Brewer is the Global Industry Director for Service Management at IFS. Mark is a recognized thought leader in the industry and has been helping organizations drive business transformation for over 20 years. He has worked for some of the largest service organizations including Coca-Cola, Dell, GE Healthcare and ThyssenKrupp. In March 2017, Mark was named one of the most influential people in field service by Field Service News.


Paul White joined the recently acquired mplsystems as Chief Executive Office in May 2005. Paul has spent the last 20 years working in and around the Field Service and Contact Centre industry and is one of the industry pioneers in the creation of affordable service management, CRM Customer Service and contact centre solutions. Prior to joining mplsystems Paul was the founding CEO of BT Contact Central, which, over 4 years, grew into a global business across UK, Europe and Asia Pacific.
