Course Description

This course provides a broad understanding of the strategic side of IFS Human Resources. Participants will learn how to track employee competencies, develop a recruitment plan, create an employee development program, and conduct training programs. Hands-on exercises, both introductory and advanced, will be completed.

Topics include:

• Creating a recruitment plan, from the position requisition through selection of a candidate
• Engineering a development program for employee advancement
• Tracking employee skills and certifications
• Administering training room requirements and scheduling
• Creating training classes and updating employee records with training course completions
