This course gives you a thorough understanding of IFS Service Management functionality. Activities include introductory and advanced exercises, and discussion of how IFS Maintenance can be used to track, schedule, and perform equipment maintenance requirements and their associated costs.

Who Should Attend? This course is intended for maintenance personnel, managers, and core team members who need to have a fundamental understanding of maintenance management and planning processes. Prerequisites None Version Latest released version unless otherwise noted Length 5 days Course Description This course provides a broad understanding of IFS Service Management and its integration across all components within IFS Applications. Participants will learn how equipment objects are created from customer orders; how service is requested, planned, and performed to maintain customers' equipment; and how to create customer orders for billing of services provided. Hands-on exercises, both introductory and advanced, will be completed. Topics include: - Creating equipment and structure records from customer orders and through a manual process to support depot repair-type operations.
- Creating preventive maintenance actions and schedules for equipment objects.
- Creating and managing work and safety permits.
- Creating and managing work orders.
- Analyzing the costs associated with maintenance work.
