Warsaw water utility company and IFS customer wins the Computerworld IT Leader 2014 award
IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that Warsaw water utility Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji w m.st. Warszawie S.A. (MPWiK S.A. Warsaw) has been awarded the prestigious title of IT Leader 2014 in the Utilities category at the 18th edition of the competition run by Computerworld in Poland. The award was given for MPWiK’s innovative way of working with IT in its business activities. The reason for the award was among others the successful implementation of the company’s new management solution from IFS.
The IT Leader competition, which is organized by Computerworld magazine, promotes the innovative and efficient use of ICT technologies by businesses and institutions operating in Poland. The finalists were chosen from a large number of companies and institutions, and the results of the competition were announced at an award ceremony on September 25th in Warsaw.
MPWiK S.A. Warsaw was nominated as a candidate in the Utilities category. One of the key solutions submitted as an entry was the transport management solution, which is based on IFS Applications. The IFS Maintenance module, together with a solution for handling transport orders, enables MPWiK S.A. to seamlessly manage its vehicle fleet and advanced equipment in an integrated and efficient manner.
