VECTOR specializes in designing, manufacturing, and integrating telecommunications solutions. Its client base includes leading Polish cable operators, television broadcasters and international cable TV providers. The company is currently also expanding into the market for telemetry solutions.
VECTOR's complex business operations include a number of different production and design processes aligned to specific end-user requirements. The company conducts low-, middle-, and high-volume production through its own R&D division, which develops new products to meet fast changing market technical requirements and specific needs of key customers. Such an environment requires an ERP solution that supports the entire product lifecycle.
For VECTOR, its previous ERP software was unable to meet clients’ growing functionality requirements. It needed a more agile system with a broader range of functionality. Following a thorough market analysis and tender process with a number of competing bids, VECTOR selected IFS Applications.
“We chose IFS because its solution was the best suited to our specific needs, which we defined in a pre-implementation analysis. What was important for us was not only the functionality of the system, but also the implementation approach. We decided to move forward with IFS because it understood our business, which was a factor that clearly set them apart from their competitors,” said Arkadiusz Rozmysłowicz, management board member in charge of finances at VECTOR Sp. z o.o.
The subsequent implementation of IFS Application has already realized a number of benefits, including better optimization of business processes and better access to information in key areas of the company's operations. IFS Applications also enables faster decision-making and cost management.
“Fast and easy access to information means quicker and better business decisions, which gives us a greater competitive edge on the market”, said Arkadiusz Rozmysłowicz.
“We are happy that IFS Applications will help VECTOR streamline its key business operations, increase order processing effectiveness, and improve client satisfaction,” said Marcin Taranek, CEO of IFS CEE.
IFS Applications has been implemented in the area of finances, manufacturing and distribution. There are 142 IFS Applications users at VECTOR.
