Grupa Powen-Wafapomp SA wins award for IFS implementation
The editorial board of renowned Polish magazine Nowy Przemysł and the wnp.pl news portal presented Grupa Powen-Wafapomp SA with the “2011 Most Interesting and Innovative IT implementation” award for the company’s implementation of the ERP suite IFS Applications.
The “Most Interesting and Innovative IT implementation” award is presented annually by the editorial board of Nowy Przemysł magazine and the wnp.pl economic news portal in recognition of the most interesting and innovative IT system implementations within the Polish industrial sector. In this year’s edition, Grupa Powen-Wafapomp SA has been recognized as the winner.
Grupa Powen-Wafapomp SA, Poland’s largest producer of industrial pumps, implemented IFS Applications to support its project-based manufacturing processes as well as standardize and streamlined its business-critical processes.
By implementing IFS Applications, Grupa Powen-Wafapomp SA has achieved benefits such as an integrated IT environment, standardized order fulfillment, optimized enterprise resource inventory management and streamlined assets management. The ERP system also supports project-based manufacturing processes, enables controlling features and guarantees continuous optimization of business processes.
