IFS forms partnership with the Portuguese group WebBusiness
IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces an agreement with WebBusiness, a company with more than 25 years of expertise in the Portuguese ERP market. The partnership will strengthen IFS’s position in the Iberian market and enable the company to offer enhanced services to clients investing in the market.
IFS has decided to enter into a strategic alliance with the Portuguese group, making WebBusiness its partner in Portugal. Thanks to WebBusiness’ considerable experience in the ERP market, the company will soon be self-sufficient in sales, implementation, and support of IFS’s solutions.
“We were looking for a company that had extensive experience of the Portuguese market and that shared our values and business culture. We are confident that WebBusiness fulfills all these requirements,” said Nick Wasey, IFS Iberica Managing Director.
The Portuguese market is characterized by the lack of global or international ERP manufacturers. When a company needs a business solution it finds many local ERP providers, but no global suppliers. “We have identified this as a great business opportunity and WebBusiness will provide complete service for the full implementation lifecycle of IFS’s solutions. As many big Portuguese enterprises are investing in Brazil or Eastern Europe, they need global solutions that can be implemented abroad. With this strategic partnership, IFS can offer them the required coverage,” Wasey said.
“IFS offers native solutions, designed to work in a natural way with the pre-existing modules, providing a wide functionality depth, complying with the most demanding performance and quality industry standards, and these solutions have been developed with the best state-of-the-art technologies and methods of the market,” said WebBusiness General Manager, Yvon Ramalho.
