Y Soft Corporation chooses IFS Applications to fuel international expansion
Czech IT company rolls out IFS solution to expand operations in ten countries
IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that Y Soft Corporation, a leading provider of printing solutions, has chosen to implement IFS Applications™ to consolidate and streamline its global business processes.
Headquartered in Brno in the Czech Republic, Y Soft develops and supplies the YSoft SafeQ solution, which empowers companies and large organizations to optimize their printing, copying, and scanning needs.
Y Soft needed an ERP solution that could support its core business processes, replace its range of legacy solutions, and provide localized business support in the regions where it is active. Following a comprehensive evaluation of the business software market, the company chose IFS Applications as its unified ERP system.
IFS Applications will be deployed for approximately 300 employees at the company’s headquarters and at its units in the UK, the UAE, France, Hungary, Singapore, Japan, Australia, USA, and Israel.
“The broad functional breath combined with its flexible architecture was what made us choose IFS Applications,” Y Soft COO Marcel Fejtek said. “We were looking for a single solution that could replace our legacy systems, both at our Brno headquarters and at all of our branches. Another important factor was the ability to optimize the solution ourselves. We consider ourselves an innovative company offering the best solutions, which is why we expect the same from our internal systems. IFS Applications met these criteria. One feature that stood out was IFS Talk, which offers us a communications tool within the application.”
“Y Soft has chosen to implement a comprehensive solution, which means that they will benefit from the full capabilities that IFS Applications has to offer. We are very happy to welcome Y Soft among our customers and we look forward to a global implementation project,” IFS Czech Sales Manager Lukáš Holásek said.
The IFS solution comprises support for financials, HR, manufacturing, distribution, service management, document management, and business analytics. The solution also includes mobile tools that will support Y Soft’s business processes. Y Soft plans to use smartphone apps IFS Notify Me, for approving purchase orders, invoices, and travel costs, as well as IFS Time Tracker, for project reporting, and IFS Trip Tracker for reporting travel expenses. The solution is expected to go live in the Czech Republic in September 2016, with the conclusion of the rollout to the remaining international branches by October 2017.
