Leading avionics supplier to implement IFS business software at three U.S. sites
Continuing its momentum in the aerospace and defense industry, IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announced today that Astronautics Corporation of America, a major avionics supplier, has signed a contract to implement IFS Applications™ 7 business software. IFS’ industry-specific solution, designed specifically to meet the needs of the defense manufacturing industry, will enable Astronautics to improve information flow among more than 1,500 users at its North American facilities along with its customers and suppliers.
Astronautics will deploy the full IFS Applications enterprise suite at its headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as well as at the New Jersey and North Carolina facilities of its subsidiary, Kearfott Guidance & Navigation Corporation. Astronautics also plans to roll out the IFS software at a manufacturing facility in Mexico.
