Wrights Group selects IFS Applications
IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that Wrights Group, one of Europe’s leading suppliers of public transport vehicles, has chosen IFS Applications™ to assist in optimizing its global operations. The agreement includes licenses, maintenance, and services worth approximately £1.2 million.
Headquartered in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, Wrights Group has established itself as Europe’s leading independent bus designer and manufacturer. To enable its plans for international expansion in Europe, Asia and the Americas, the company was looking to deploy a business system that was easy to configure, maintain, and scale.
“We chose IFS Applications because it offered us the best blend of multi-site, global capabilities coupled with robust features for product configuration, project management, and supply chain,” Wrights Group Global Supply Chain Director Lorraine Rock said. “Another important factor was the ease with which we can configure the system ourselves while still maintaining a standard upgrade path to future releases.”
