IFS Implementation Methodology, a holistic methodology based on structured project delivery and over 30 years of delivering IFS solutions to customers. IFS start by positioning the solution with key stakeholders and typically run a value assessment to understand key business outcomes. This is followed by mapping processes and then enters a formal initiation phase. Initiation includes planning and preparation for the project as well as installing applications. The critical Confirm Prototype phase requires the build and confirmation of a prototype solution and definition of data migrations required. The Establish Phase includes a build and verification of the solution, as well as execution of the data migration, this precedes Solution Acceptance Testing and a set of preparation activities to bring the receiving organization up to speed with training, enablement and change management. The Go-Live phase includes Cutover, Going Live Support and Project closing. As IFS transition to a lifecycle services model, the methodology has been expanded to include Value Realization and Value Maximization Phases to ensure IFS and its customers plan for maximum return on investment.
