Leading manufacturer CeDo improves business processes with IFS Applications
IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that CeDo Sp. z o.o., the Polish subsidiary of CeDo Group, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of household disposables, has implemented IFS Applications™. By the end of 2014 CeDo plans to further roll out IFS Applications to the other companies in the Group.
- IFS Applications consolidates a number of standalone solutions for improved data control
- IFS Applications improves a number of business processes such as materials handling, supply and stock management
- 140 users now live on IFS Applications with plans for additional roll-outs within the CeDo Group
CeDo is the leading European manufacturer of household disposables such as: refuse sacks and bin liners, freezer bags, aluminium foil and cling film. The group operates a number of manufacturing plants in Europe and Asia, as well as a recycling facility in the Netherlands.
A key driver behind the IFS Applications implementation is the need to consolidate various standalone IT solutions, data centralization and enhancing business processes for some 140 users in the areas of finance, production, distribution and document management.
"Implementing IFS Applications has allowed us to eliminate different database systems and their processing tools,” CeDo Sp. z o.o. Financial Director Jacek Kojdecki said. "With IFS Applications we have continuous access to mission-critical business information, which improves our decision-making process. It also allows us better insight into our process execution and improves materials handling and supply management. Furthermore, we have been able to benefit from significant improvements of our stock management, which is important for us. Implementing IFS Applications has allowed our planning and reporting processes to become agile, which is a strategic business advantage for us," Jacek Kojdecki continued.
"Following a very rapid and successful implementation we are very happy that CeDo has now gone live with IFS Applications, and we believe that this showcases IFS’s strengths in process heavy manufacturing industries," IFS CEE president Marcin Taranek commented. "Process manufacturing is an important market for IFS and we believe that our solutions offer the highest industry standards supporting all key areas that allow our clients to improve their competitiveness."
