IFS broadens its e-business offering via partnership with Ateles
IFS has entered into a partnership agreement with the Swedish e-business company, Ateles, within the framework of the IFS Global Partner Program in order to offer customers agile, cost-effective e-business solutions.
The partnership between IFS and Ateles will enable IFS to offer its customers a standardized interface for a number of the leading interfaces on the market. Plug-and-play implementation ensures lower costs related to implementation and ownership as well as a greater selection of existing solutions. If customers’ future needs change, the standardized interface gives them the choice of moving to alternate e-business platforms.
”We have worked closely with Ateles for many years when we developed IFS Webstore, IFS’ e-business solution in which customer, product and order information is handled between IFS Applications and the existing e-business platform,” said Erik Lind, product manager at IFS. “IFS has derived major benefits from Ateles’ long experience of e-business platforms. The new partnership agreement will better enable us to utilize Ateles’ unique competence in the e-business sector. Our customers will notice that our e-business solutions will provide even greater long-term financial benefits than they do today.”
”Our companies know each other well and already have many satisfied customers in common,” said Mats Lundström,” CEO at Ateles. “This agreement clarifies our collaboration, and customers can feel secure in the knowledge that they will have access to long-term support and help to manage their e-business platform. By collaborating closely with IFS we can provide cost-efficient solutions to customers who have specific requirements. The agreement also means that we will intensify our collaboration in sales by jointly marketing our new e-business solutions.”
