Byggmax selects IFS Applications 9 to support continued growth
Byggmax, the leading retailer of do-it-yourself products and building materials, upgrades to IFS Applications 9 to support 500 users across some 130 stores in three countries
IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that Byggmax has chosen to upgrade to IFS Applications™ 9 and extend its solution with capabilities supporting key business processes such as purchasing, finance, warehousing, supply chain, and e-commerce.
Byggmax is a leading retailer of do-it-yourself products and building materials in the Nordics with some 130 stores located in Sweden, Norway, and Finland as well as rapidly growing online sales. The company, which has been using IFS Applications since 2006, has decided to upgrade and extend its IFS solution to support its ambitious growth strategy.
In order to increase effectiveness and flexibility, Byggmax will be leveraging some of the new features of IFS Applications 9, including the layered application architecture, the role-based IFS Lobby interface, and the notification solution IFS Streams. Byggmax has selected IFS components for financials, distribution, supply chain, and retail.
