IFS Field Service Management Configuring Portals

The purpose of this course is to provide you with the information required to customize the IFS Field Service Management Portals. After attending the course the successful candidate will have an overview of the functionality available in the portals and understand how to configure the data necessary for the portals. In addition the course covers a review of the portal architecture; create master pages, data style sheets, data binding and additional advanced topics like attachments and dynamic queries.

Technical Engineer responsible for modification to the portal, key project personnel

PREREQUISITES

The successful attendee will have experience with Visual Studio IDE, C# programming language and ASP .NET. An understanding of your business processes for handling field processes is also desired. This class is taught in a workshop format; students are encouraged to come to class with design documents to UI and process modifications that are planned as part of their application implementation. The student(s) will leave class with projects completed as practical.
