WHY SHOULD I ATTEND?
Internet Transaction Services (ITS) is IFS’s implementation of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).
ITS Implement business APIs by using internet technology and XML.It is implemented as a collection of Business API’s (BIZAPIs) that allow for the sending and receiving of EDI messages (in XML format) into and out of IFS Application using various Connectors (File, Ftp, Http …)
This course is designed to enable users to understand and configure ITS transactions required for the EDI transactions used by the business.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Users who will setup and monitor ITS transactions (EDI).
A basic understanding of IFS Applications and Integration architecture.
IFS Connect training is strongly recommended.
IFS Applications 2004 or later.
Course duration is 2-4 hours.
- Introduction to ITS.
- General ITS Setup of EDI messages for customers and suppliers.
- Configuring routing rules and addresses for ITS transactions (Inbound and Outbound).
- Brief explanation of ITS message processing (IN queue, Connectivity, Incoming messages)
- Brief explanation of ITS message format (SOAP IFS, Xml)
NOTE: This course does not provide detailed configuration of a specific ITS transaction, including EDI message mapping, transformation from and to EDI X12 format, triggering of the ITS outbound message, verifying incoming ITS message. Such details can be optionally provided in separate sessions based on the required EDI transactions.
Course can be delivered remotely via WebEx (or similar) session.
